POWERFUL STEPS TO GREAT AIM
The Educational district “Scientific-educational complex of multi-level continuous education” “Profile education of the region” is the largest educational, socio-economic and public project of the Kremenchuk Institute of Alfred Nobel University, the steps towards implementation of which have become a significant event in the life of the Institute.
The first step was taken in 2008, when the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine approved the next complex theme of the scientific research of the Institute – “Methodological Support for the Acceleration of the Socio-Economic Development of the Kremenchuk Biosphere Region” (No. 0108U004531). The leading researcher of the Institute, who worked hard on the theoretical and practical aspects of this topic, was Anatolii Samodrin, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Full Professor.
A new step towards the goal was the 1st Workshop “Organization of System-Based Education Laying on the Principles of Interaction between School and Higher Educational Institutions in the Region” with participation of Heads of Educational Departments, School Directors and Scholars at the Institute (March 26, 2009), which was attended by directors of 52 schools of Kremenchugk and the region, heads of educational departments (Kremenchuk, Globyno, Onufriivka, Komsomolsk and Kremenchuk districts). The practical result of this seminar was establishment of a scientific-educational complex of continuous multi-level education “Profile education of the region” (hereinafter the “Complex”). In addition to the Institute, 25 educational establishments of Kremenchuk biosphere region became the members of the Complex.
The work on the Complex development was very active. In 2010 the members of the Complex met three times to solve urgent issues: on the 3rd of February at the 2nd scientific-pedagogical seminar “Prospects for the development of educational institutions in modern conditions”, on the 23rd of October at the theoretical and methodological seminar "”Psychological and pedagogical problems of development of the educational and spiritual space of the person in the conditions of the region” and on the 26th of November at the Interregional Scientific and Practical Seminar “Healthy Lifestyle of a Schoolchild, a Student as a Future Specialist of the 21st Century”.
A new extremely important step towards the goal was the defense of Anatolii Samodrin's dissertation for obtaining a scientific degree of the Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, which with great success was held on February 8, 2011 at the specialized scientific council of the Institute of Pedagogics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. It has become a kind of scientific research of the project at the highest scientific level and created the basis for participation in the project implementation of several institutes of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine.
On March 11, 2011, at the Interregional Scientific and Practical Conference “V. I. Vernadsky Ideas and Modern Education”, the members of the Complex once again gathered to discuss the theoretical and practical aspects of further joint educational activities.
